If you go to the arenal volcano this time of the year you will get to know that there severe winds that cool down the weather inmensely. That is why the poeple from the ICE also put those wind powered energy producers right by the Arenal Lake. Mostly because of the winds that blow through here. The wind is so strong that you can actually wind surf on the Arenal Lake. Amazing Right!
