New tourists today are spending more time finding a good budget plan online. Rather than coming to find a life here in Arenal. More and more often here at the Arenal volcano we find that there are less and less people on our roads looking for a place to stay. It is interesting to see how the same tourist that years ago would just get a plane to Costa Rica and come to the Arenal volcano looking for a place to stay is virtually gone. THE "WALKIN" TOURIST has almost disappeared here at the Arenal Volcano. Most of the people coming to the Arenal volcano nowadays are trying to book everything from the comfort of their home.
Probably due to the security issue or the piece of mind of having everything ready once they leave their home. This type of tourist no longer wants risks and thus books everything online.
